As of today the Island View Cottages are proud to announce that we are accepting reservations! Can’t wait to see everyone! ☀️

At the Island View Cottages we are committed to supporting Florida’s efforts to contain the Coronavirus (COVID-19), so after careful consideration we decided to close from 3/27 to 5/14, not accepting any reservations during this time.

During our closure we have spent countless hours cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing the Cottages for the inevitable day that Florida started to open its doors again. We are pleased to announce that we are currently accepting reservations for May 15th, 2020 onward, and we will monitor our capacity and the directions of the state of Florida as we move ahead in this endeavor. We are excited to welcome you all back to our little slice of paradise.

We know it’s stressful out there right now, so leave the planning to us! Although you may not be able to join us right now, or if you are thinking May 15th cannot come fast enough, we are offering call-in booking right now to give each guest a personal touch, and to ensure that each booking is spaced out accordingly. Call us at (772) 589-5247, and our Inn Keepers will help you in any way you need!

Safety First

If you’re wondering if our beautiful property is right for you at the moment, we have laid out a few things for you to consider.

1. Each cottage has an exterior door right out to the beautiful property.
2. There are no hallways or elevators to possibly be in close contact with others. Each cottage is completely contained with all your living needs.  
3. Publix and other local restaurants will deliver straight to your door! You can download Instacart or Uber Eats right on your phone, if need be. You never have to leave the property if you’re looking for a place to safely stay indoors.
4. We will be closing down our Social Room, to ensure people keep their distance while enjoying the outdoors.
5. We are right on the water so you have access to our kayaks, canoes, bikes, yard games etc.  
6. We have many outside sitting areas where you can read a book or just chill.  In fact we have 13 areas to relax and social distance; enjoying the beautiful scenery around you. We even have two hammocks that you can nap in.
7. Our boat dock can hold 8 boats and has 3 separate seating areas.
8. We are prioritizing Call-In Booking, so just be sure that we can speak to your directly, and ensure that we spacing out each guest accordingly.
9. We will be booking all rooms no closer than 2 days apart. This gives us plenty of time to ozone and sanitize the area.
10. Lastly, we will provide contactless check-in and will discuss the best way to do spiff-ups for your room, or not, if that makes you more comfortable. We even offer disinfectant stations by all sitting areas and recreational toys.

We are concerned first and foremost with your comfort on our property, but as Florida opens it’s doors and businesses start to reopen, we feel its our duty to provide potential members of our community with the option of a clean, and luxurious safe-haven amidst all the chaos. We are not providing any Cottage Tours at this time.
