“Siren’s Call” – Cottage 9
Welcome to your fairy-tale!
Inspired by the legends of the sea, Kristen Knudsen, our interior designer of this lovely cottage, provides our resident with a glimpse of life as a Mermaid; using a unique blend of past, present, nature and fantasy to create a masterpiece within the walls of the cottage. We are so impressed with how this Cottage came together, and we know that after a night with us in this whimsical cottage you will love it too!
The Journey Begins:
As you look through this album, be sure to pay attention to the Mermaid painting. The room is tied together beautifully by it.
A few things to remember: The painting was actually done first, and our designer based the style, color scheme, and decor around the mermaid; hoping to illuminate what would be the Mermaid’s habitat, cottage 9, at the Island View Cottages. So much of what was chosen, like the paint color and wall decor, was chosen to immerse the resident into a creative world of fantasy and make believe. The attention to detail is amazing, and will definitely leave the resident with an impression unlike any other.
We are so thankful to Kristen for lending her talents to the Island View Community, and are confident that you will enjoy your stay with us here in “Siren’s Call”.
