“Find Your Retreat” – Cottage 1
Finding your retreat is a real treat!
Welcome to the first entry in our Virtual Tours series! We are proud to introduce the Island View Community to Cottage number 1. This Cottage was designed by Betsy Heath, and you can see the original post, with links to her contact information and information about her studio, by clicking on the link above. We are so excited to take you on a journey inside the Cottage she designed.
The Journey Begins:
As you scroll through the photos we hope you are able to fully immerse yourself into the cottage!
A few things to remember, the waterfall feature in the main shower was crafted by the designer, and is a one-of-a-kind feature! To continue the trend of giving our residents a unique experience, a re-purposed old fish cleaning station from the original Ferndale Lodge was transformed into the kitchen bar! The ottoman in the living space was crafted from an old headboard, once again showing what’s old can sometimes be new again. We love that residents of Cottage 1 got so many statement pieces of furniture that are unique to this locale.
